DESCRIPTION:Im Inside:Out entsteht in Zusammenarbeit mit einer ergotherapeutischen Praxis ein wöchentliches ergotherapeutisches Angebot.\nDie Ergotherapiestunden finden direkt hier statt und können jeden Dienstag zwischen 8 und 12 Uhr wahrgenommen werden. \nZiel ist es\, queeren Menschen einen möglichst niedrigschwelligen und diskriminierungssensiblen Zugang zu Ergotherapie zu ermöglichen\, da viele im medizinischen Bereich Ausgrenzung und Diskriminierung erfahren. \nErgotherapie\, auch Betätigungstherapie genannt\, bedeutet\, gemeinsam zu schauen\, welche Tätigkeiten im Alltag wichtig sind und wo Einschränkungen in Ausführung\, Teilhabe oder Zufriedenheit bestehen. Dabei geht es nicht darum\, Menschen an Anforderungen anzupassen\, sondern Tätigkeiten und Rahmenbedingungen an individuelle Bedürfnisse – durch den Abbau von Barrieren und die Stärkung von Ressourcen. Gearbeitet wird mit Symptomen statt Diagnosen\, da jede Person eine eigene Lebensrealität mitbringt.\nZiel der Ergotherapie ist die Verbesserung von Lebensqualität und Teilhabe. Dafür werden gemeinsam kleinschrittige\, realistische Ziele entwickelt\, die bei Bedarf flexibel angepasst werden. Als Publikum kannst du die Präsentationen entspannt mit Snacks und Getränken genießen oder selbst eine deiner Leidenschaften mit anderen teilen. \nAlle\, die Lust haben\, selbst zu präsentieren\, melden sich bitte per E-Mail bei tony.zoellner@aol.com an und schicken ihre Präsentation bis spätestens 29.01. im .pptx-Format an diese Adresse\, um technische Schwierigkeiten am Abend zu vermeiden. \nDie Anforderungen an die Präsentationen sind bewusst niedrigschwellig:\nDie Präsentation sollte etwa 5 Minuten dauern und zu Beginn eine Folie mit Triggerwarnungen enthalten – mehr Vorgaben gibt es nicht.\nThematisch seid ihr vollkommen frei: vom Infodump über Meeresschnecken\, über persönliche Rankings von Videospielcharakteren bis hin zu den ökologischen Vorteilen des Kannibalismus. \n  \nOn January 30th\, a Queer PowerPoint Night will take place at Inside:Out!\nWhat does that mean? Different people will give short presentations on topics of their own choosing. Ranging from academically grounded to delightfully trivial. As a member of the audience\, you can sit back and enjoy the presentations with snacks and drinks\, or you can take the stage yourself and share one of your passions with others. \nAnyone who would like to present is asked to register via email at tony.zoellner@aol.com and send their presentation in .pptx format to this address by January 29th at the latest\, in order to avoid technical difficulties on the evening. \nThe requirements for the presentations are intentionally low-threshold: Each presentation should be around 5 minutes long and begin with a slide\ncontaining trigger warnings – that’s it. There are no further restrictions. \nYou are completely free in your choice of topic: from an infodump about sea slugs\, to personal rankings of video game characters\, all the way to the ecological benefits of cannibalism.

DESCRIPTION:Viele trans*\, inter* und nichtbinäre* Personen – besonders junge Menschen – erleben im Gesundheitssystem Diskriminierung. Dadurch werden notwendige medizinische Angebote oft gemieden. Präventionsangebote speziell für diese Community sind bislang selten – und genau hier möchten wir ansetzen. \nGynäkologische Praxen können für trans*\, inter* und nichtbinäre* Personen belastend sein\, da die eigene geschlechtliche Identität schnell im Fokus steht und queer-sensibilisiertes Personal selten ist. \nIn unserem Workshop mit einer queeren Gynäkologin erklären wir\, was bei einem gynäkologischen Besuch zu erwarten ist\, warum regelmäßige Untersuchungen wichtig sind und welche Ärzt*innen in Wuppertal queerfreundlich arbeiten. As a result\, essential medical services are often avoided. Preventive healthcare offers specifically tailored to this community are still rare — and this is exactly where we want to make a difference. \nGynecological clinics can be particularly challenging for trans*\, inter*\, and non-binary* people\, as their gender identity is often pushed into focus and queer-sensitive staff is still uncommon. \nIn our workshop with a queer gynecologist\, we explain what to expect during a gynecological visit\, why regular check-ups are important\, and which healthcare providers in Wuppertal offer queer-friendly care. The workshop provides a safe space for participants to ask any questions they may have.

DESCRIPTION:Schlemmend und schwoofend ins neue Jahr! \nDie Urania-Frauen laden herzlich ein zum traditionellen Silvesterschwoof ins Inside:Out in der Hochstr. 60!\nWir starten den Silvester-Abend mit einem gemeinsamen Mitbringbuffet ab 19 Uhr und laden dazu alle Frauen\, die Lust auf Schlemmen in netter Gesellschaft haben\, herzlich ein. Jede\, die kommt\, bringt eine Kleinigkeit für’s Buffet mit (und nimmt die Reste später auch wieder mit zurück nach Hause!🙂) Erfahrungsgemäß kommt meist auch ohne aufwändige Planung eine ganz bunte Mischung zustande! \nDer Silvester-Schwoof beginnt dann ab 21 Uhr! Bis ca. 1 Uhr kann abgetanzt werden. Ebenfalls schon Tradition: um Mitternacht gibt’s ein Glas Sekt (oder Selters) für jede!

DESCRIPTION:Du bist queer\, zwischen 18 und 35 und suchst das passende Ehrenamt für dich ? \n\n\nDann komme zu SCHLAU. \n\n\nSCHLAU Wuppertal ist ein Projekt\, das sich gegen Diskriminierung einsetzt und sich auf sexuelle\, romantische und geschlechtliche Vielfalt konzentriert. \n\n\nWir besuchen Schulen\, Sportvereine und andere Jugendeinrichtungen und bieten dort Workshops zu diesen Themen an. Hierbei stehen die eigene Biografiearbeit\, Erfahrungen und Perspektiven im Mittelpunkt. \n\n\nZusätzlich finden regelmäßig kostenlose Weiterbildungs- und Freizeitangebote für alle Teamenden statt\, an denen ihr teilnehmen könnt. \nUnsere Teamtreffen finden immer am 2. und 4. Mittwoch im Monat statt.
