Vom 25. bis 27. Oktober 2024 findet im Inside:Out, dem queeren Zentrum Wuppertals, ein dreitägiger Workshop statt, der sich mit der Frage auseinandersetzt, wie Städte gerechter für alle Geschlechter und sexuellen Identitäten gestaltet werden können. Organisiert von Kira Sandrock und Anna Nill, Studentinnen des Masterstudiengangs Public Interest Design an der Bergischen Universität Wuppertal, werden gemeinsam die patriarchalen und heteronormativen Strukturen der Stadtgestaltung hinterfragt und neue, kreative Ansätze für eine gerechtere Gestaltung urbaner Räume entwickelt.
Der Workshop richtet sich an alle Interessierten, die aktiv an der Diskussion und Veränderung des städtischen Raums mitwirken wollen. Wir möchten vor allem die Perspektiven von FLINTA*-Personen (Frauen, Lesben, inter, nicht-binäre, trans und agender Personen) einbeziehen und so zu einer gerechteren und inklusiveren Stadt beitragen.

Freitag, 25. Oktober – 18:30-21:00 Uhr: Filmabend & Kennenlernen
Samstag, 26. Oktober – 10:00-19:00 Uhr: Auseinandersetzung mit dem Stadtraum
Sonntag, 27. Oktober – 10:00-14:00 Uhr: Kreative Lösungen entwickeln
Die Teilnahme am Workshop ist kostenlos. Verpflegung wird an allen Tagen bereitgestellt.

Die Ergebnisse des Workshops werden in einer öffentlichen Ausstellung am 7. November 2024 um 19:30 Uhr im Loch präsentiert. Dort habt ihr auch die Möglichkeit, die erarbeiteten Ideen mit Expert*innen aus der Stadtplanung zu diskutieren.
